Are you a law firm or a website like LawDepot or Clerky?
Legal Now is neither a traditional law firm nor a self-serve document website. Unlike document platforms such as LawDepot or Clerky, Legal Now does not provide unreviewed, one-size-fits-all templates. All legal work is delivered by qualified lawyers exercising professional judgment.
What types of legal work do you do?
Currently, we focus on company formation, corporate and shareholder matters, as well as employment and intellectual property law for small and medium businesses.
What locations do you service?
We connect clients to Canadian lawyers and support drafting of legal documents in Canada. We can refer you to US lawyers as well, but at the moment we do not provide US legal services through the platform.
Do I need to worry about hallucinations or security?
When a lawyer is providing you with paid legal advice or documents, you do not need to worry about any inaccuracies the AI may produce because the lawyer will catch and correct them. Your data is stored and processed entirely in Canada with industry-standard encryption and security.
Can I speak to a legal professional if I need to?
Absolutely. You can always reach a lawyer for a video call if you need them. For most projects, they will reach out to you early on to establish a relationship.
How long does it take to get my documents?
Turnaround depends on the service: company formation takes 1–2 business days, employment templates take 2 business days, and SaaS agreements take 3 business days.
How do I pay?
